Moving to Jesus

Last night at dinner...

Justin: Girls, what will we do when you grow up and move away from us? Do you think you'll move back to California?
Ellie: No, Dad. Don't worry, we'll just move to Jesus.
Abbie: No, Ellie. We're not moving to Jesus yet. Next, we're moving to Utah.
Ellie: Oh.

This is one of many funny conversations we've had about going to/moving to/being with Jesus since my Dad died. As we were saying our goodbyes to all our friends in CA, Ellie would say to everyone, "don't worry, we'll see you at Jesus." It's nice to know that the concept of the eternities and eternal families is sinking into her little mind--in a 4-year-old kind of way.
