While doing Abbie's hair this morning...
Abbie: Mom, I really miss Dad a lot.
Mom: I know, sweetie. So do I.
Abbie: Do you know one of the things I miss most about Dad?
Mom: What?
Abbie: Watching Jazz games with him.
Mom: I bet Dad misses that too. We'll have to go to a Jazz game when he gets home.
Abbie: Why can't Dad just sign up for the Jazz?
Mom: You mean, to play for them?
Abbie: Yeah...then we could go to every game.
Mom: (laughing) You can't just sign up to play for the Jazz. You have to be one of the best basketball players in the world to play for them.
Abbie: Dad is one of the best basketball players in the world.
Mom: (laughing...some more) I'm sure Dad would be glad to know you think that.
She obviously didn't see this post the other day. I love you, J-dog!

The honest truth is the other day was just a fluke...really windy. Let Abbie know we will give the Jazz a try when I get back. Never heard of a 33 year old, pot-bellied rookie, walk on? I can see it.
