Wow...3 posts in 24 hours! I think that's a record for me.
Anyhow, after posting about my dad & my husband, I couldn't let the sun set without expressing my love & gratitude for the other fathers in my life...my father-in-law & my grandpa-in-law (is that a real term?).
I have been so very blessed with great examples of what it means to be a man...a man of God. My dad & my brothers taught me what to look for as I navigated my way through the dating pool. As I now look at Justin, I see bits of each of them in him.
I am also eternally grateful for the men in Justin's life who taught & guided him. I look at his dad & grandpa, and recognize immediately the mold he was made from.
They are great men.
When Ammon was born, we debated for a long time over what his middle name would be. As I looked at the amazing men Justin learned from and modeled his whole life, I knew Ammon needed to be aware
& part of that heritage.
This is one of my favorite pictures of all time!
Four generations of Earls...
Earl, Douglas Earl, Justin Earl,
& Ammon Earl
The video below reminded me of all the amazing men in my life. As I watched, I was reminded how blessed I am to be surrounded by good men...real men...who love & honor their wives, their children, their priesthood, and--most importantly--their God.
My gratitude for these blessings has deepened & intensified as I now raise my own little man. He will never have to look far for earthly examples of how to fulfill his responsibilities in this life. And because of these examples, he will always know where he can turn for perfect examples in his Savior & Heavenly Father.

This story was told in our Sacrament meeting today. I want to be that selfless and thoughtful someday! Thanks for the inspiring words!
Loved the video! Also, a very appropriate tribute to the "Earls".

Love, Mom and Dad
Sue,
You always manage to bring a tear to my eye or a laugh to my lips with your posts. I love seeing your family they are so beautiful.
I love your 4 generations of Earl.
Sorry we will miss your move back to Fallon.
