Okay, so Ammon's binky obsession is getting a little out of control! We took Abbie's away on her first birthday, and she did fine. We waited until 18 months with Ellie, and it was a disaster. She probably would have been fine if we would have taken it away earlier, but we waited too long...she was attached...literally! So, we don't want to make the same mistake with Ammon. He's going to be in for quite the surprise when his binks somehow get lost in the move--oops.
good things...
1. 3...2...1...0 binkies
2. other people packing my house for me
3. family waiting on the other end to help unpack

LOVE the binky. Our youngest JUST had hers taken. It was rough!
SHE's THREE! I was more attached than her. Good luck with the days(and nights) ahead :0
Hahaha! I love it! I don't know if I've ever seen 2 and 3 binky's at a time. We sure love you guys and we're excited for you to be closer really soon!
Our Elizabeth was the SAME way!!! (sleeping with 3- just like that pic of Ammon) With Daddy gone and moves and...and...and... Elizabeth got to hold on to hers longer that I initially planned. But finally it "broke" and that was that. Daddy laid down with her for a couple nights and it was NOT as bad as I thought it would be. Good luck.
(and hip, hip, horray for family help with kids and unpacking!!!)
Oh I am so thankful NOT ONE of my girls wanted a binky. I don't know why I was so lucky!
Good luck with the binky removal and good luck with your move!
Sara's 18 months and I fear for the disaster of taking the binky away! I know I've waited too long. Any suggestions are welcomed!
Where were you on this blog about 6 months ago! Carrington is going to be really sad tomorrow and I am going to her about it!
In our house, we call the "binkie" the "plug" (to plug them up from crying!). Ammon's substitute binky puts the picture to the name!
Ammon is getting so big! I love the pictures! Good luck with your move!
mom and dad said, We noticed in the move, he still has his binkie! Those are funny pictures.
those pictures brought back memories of my own "binky boy!" He was so attached he would steal his from his baby brother or cousin! He would hide in the bassinet and get his "hit"-I thought he'd never get over it.
He did.
Ammon is so cute!
Mom,
Thats hilarious. I loooved the "substitute binky" stage-
Abbie
