Ava's Rule

I've followed Sheye Rosemeyer's story/blog/photography for a long time now. She is such an inspiration to me on so many levels. She has asked her readers to share this important message, and I am more than happy to oblige...

Thanks for sharing Sue.
My step father is the Uncle most of the little girls who were hiding in a car trunk in utah a few years back. They lost them all to the heat. It was devistating.
AVA's rule is wonderful!

I have always been on the kids about the danger of cars and yet I think you can't ever worn them enough and explain the reason why enough. I had never thought of teaching them to honk the horn (mainly because they are not allowed near the front seats due to the dangers there) but I will have to make sure they know to honk in an emergency. Thanks for sharing. It amazes me what can happen in a matter of moments.
