Miss Ellie has been wiggling her wiggly tooth for who knows how long?! Abbie had lost several teeth by this age, and to say Ellie has been anxious to meet the tooth fairy, would be a gross understatement!
I'd been secretly scheming to somehow yank it in her sleep, when the taco did it. That's right...it took a taco. Ellie took a bite, and felt something hard (harder than her taco shell, that is). She pulled it out of her mouth, held her little hand out to me and asked, "mom, what's that?"...to which I replied, "um, your tooth!"
This is the face that followed...

I love this girl!

always a BIG *and fun* step in their childhood.
WE LOVE THE TOOTH FAIRY :)
LOVE it! Love hearing from you again. Is it really ok for us parents to constantly lie to our children about these magical beings that really don't exist? Well, shoot, I just don't hear santa's silver bell ringing anymore. ;) j/k
Congratulations, Ellie! Hope that tooth fairy is prompt!
Another darling post. Have you ever thought of writing a book?
Love you,
Mom Jones
