Daddy's Boy

Ammon obviously doesn't understand why Dad is gone or why the only time he sees his face is on the computer. He is such a daddy's boy...he's had a hard time adjusting.

So...the other day, when he saw Dad pop up on the screen, he came running, climbed up on the chair, and started giving him kisses...which has started a little ritual with all the kids. I'm sure Justin's bunk-mates (who only hear his end of the conversation) wonder what he's doing making all these kissing noises to his laptop.

good things...

1. a boy who loves his daddy
2. a dad who loves his boy
3. the thought of Justin making kissy-face to his laptop in a 40-man bunk at his Navy training camp

I was just getting all caught up with your family. What a month! I was crying by the end of May! You are so strong. Your kids are beautiful. I love the picture you have with your son kissing the screen. That is priceless!

That is a picture you will cherish forever. I have been in tears reading your past month and now you have me laughing at Justin in some tough Navy camp making kissing noises. The things a father will do for their kids!
