Well, Eden is officially no longer a terrible two...whatever that means! She was never terrible (big wink)...just terribly sweet...and slightly naughty. She's so little and cute. I just want to hug her and kiss her and squooosh her little cheeks. I call her Boo because she reminds me of that super cute little girl on Monsters, Inc. She still doesn't really talk much...at least in a language we can understand.
That's part of her charm!
So, in honor of her big day, here's a list of some of Eden's favorites...
food: bananas, chicken nuggets, & treats
color: purple (she says...but she has a hard time telling colors apart. Until recently, you could ask her the color of an item 10 times in a row, and she'd say a different color every time. I think she's starting to get it, though...I hope.)
tv show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (hands down...we're watching it this very moment)
pastime: playing make-believe with every toiletry mom owns (she lines them up around the edge of the tub and they magically become people in the mystical land of Eden)
comfort item: sparkly sippy
movie: Cars (Dawn gave us a few Cars pull-ups she had left over from Evan, and Eden has been obssessed ever since. She won't wear anything else. Then on her birthday, I let her pick out any cups/plates she wanted, and what does she pick...not Princess, not Tinker Bell, not Dora...Cars. I think the movie was on continuous play the entire--and very long--drive home from Jon & Dawn's. Thanks, Dawn!)
toy: anything that comes out of the cupboard in my bathroom
Some of my favorite things about Eden...
the way she puts her little hand around my neck as she's falling asleep
"jarbage" (garbage)
"nilk" (milk)
"lucky" (yucky)
"lub" (love)
the way she adds one intelligible word at the end of a very long phrase in "Edenese"
she gives out hugs & kisses like nobody's business!
the way she calls Ammon "big boy"
her eyes
how she wants to be just like her sisters
that she weighs a pound less than Ammon and still thinks she's in charge
the way she finishes her prayers at night and proceeds to tell us everything she said in her prayer...as if we weren't sitting right there
the look on her face when she thinks she's done something clever
her fierce sense of fashion
"I lub oo, mommy"
Happy birthday, baby girl!
I lub oo too.
Gotta add a few birthday moments...
the loot

I looked at the last picture and for a minute thought, "Who are all those kids!" Then a split second later I came to my senses and laughed that they are all yours. For some reason it looks like a whole lot more than four! Even though I don't know Eden all that well, I just want to kidnap her. What a sweetie!
That Eden, her face is soo sweet.
I loved hearing the things you wrote about your babe.
Sounds like a 3 yr old coming of age to me.
Hope you had a good trip.
