So, Abbie is really into lists lately. She makes all our menus, lists of everyone's jobs, lists of things she wants to do, etc. Once she commits a list to paper...she thinks it's law! It's been tough trying to explain to a six year old why we can't have chicken nuggets or hot dogs every night for dinner. If our plan ever deviates from "the list", we hear the classic, "but we just have to do it...I already put it on the list."
Well, the other night this list shows up around dinner time:
I have to say, her division of labor seemed pretty fair to me. I'm not complaining!

3. a husband who actually did clean the whole house

That is the best! Must be a first grader thing with the lists and notes. It breaks your heart they are so cute.

The list thing makes me laugh. Carter went through a "list" stage. Although, I don't think he was quite as adamant about sticking to his lists - he must take after me.

Tell Abbie that Aunt Beth is a list maker from way back (and so was Grandpa Leavitt!). I loved the kids cute, funny pictures and all of your heartfelt and insightful comments. I'm sorry about your release as Young Women's president. I know how bittersweet some of those releases can be.
